TM unifi 30Mbps with data capped for households with incomes below RM4,500.
The arrangement is made available after communications minister Gobind Singh Deo said internet speeds should be made more affordable for the masses.
By the way the new unifi basic broadband with speeds of 30Mbps will be limited exclusively for households with income of RM4,500 and below.
Asked why was TM only limiting the 30Mbps plan to only the B40 in the era of data democratisation, its executive vice president of Unifi Imri Mokhtar said: “This is for us to be more focused, to help the lower salary families: the B40. This is in line with the demographics that the government is working on to provide some help.”
